Dear Shepherd Parents,
I want to welcome you (or welcome you back) to Good Shepherd this year. We’re so pleased to have you and your child with us. We know this will be a wonderful year of growth and surprises!! Some of you are new to Good Shepherd. Let me take a moment to tell you a little about us.
We’re a community of people seeking to know God and to live that love and grace. This mission extends into our Preschool and After-school Ministries with the motto, “A place you will feel loved.” We feel the grounding of child development and growth comes from the confidence we feel through God’s grace. We want your children to feel loved, to know God’s love for them, and to learn how to demonstrate loving behavior to others. This is the foundation of our school program and our church.
We want you to know we are here for you as a church family in whatever way you need. We want to support you in your parenting and to pray for you. If there are concerns or celebrations in your life, we’d love to walk those journeys with you. And to state the obvious, we’d love for you to join us in worship. We gather every Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m.
We share a goal to help prepare your child with the best foundation for successful years ahead. I truly look forward to getting to know you all in that effort.
